What You Can Expect
Whether for a seminar, breakout session, keynote speech, or as an consultant or coach, you’re hiring me to help you succeed and I take that responsibility very seriously. Here are some qualities you can always expect.
1. You can expect complete honesty. I’ll never tell you anything I don’t know to be true. That also means I may sometimes tell you things that are a little uncomfortable to hear, but you aren’t hiring me to tell you what you want to hear.
2. You can expect me to keep any information about your organization completely confidential. I need full access to give you the best service but I understand your concern with confidentiality.
3. You can expect me to return your communications as quickly as possible. If I’m traveling or in another presentation it might be a couple of hours, but rest assured, I’m not ignoring you.
4. You can expect me to be on time. If I’m not there when I said I would be something serious has happened. If I’m not there and haven’t called, you better call an ambulance.
5. You can expect that I will never train or suggest any method that I haven’t found successful through personal experience. I’ve had more than 35 years to experiment and I’ve always ended up back at the basics that I now teach.
6. You can expect that I will want to speak to people at various levels within your organization. I’ll ask a few questions but mainly I want to listen. Though I may give senior leadership a summation of what I’ve learned I will not share or attribute specific comments with anyone inside or outside your organization.
7. You can expect to not have any hidden costs. Whatever we agree to is the cost for that service.
