LINKS TO SITES I'VE FOUND TO BE VALUABLE
www.NewDayVA.com

Sheryl Donley provides various administrative services. She used to work for me and so I can attest that she is the very best. She always kept me on track and out of trouble which is a major accomplishment. If you need administrative work, check her out. You won't find anyone better.

www.nsaspeaker.org

If you're a professional speaker, or want to be, you need to belong to the National Speakers Association. This is the only organization I've ever seen where your potential competition will help help you improve your business. The NSA truly defines professionalism.

www.tsowell.com
economics.gmu.edu/wew

I struggled for years to understand basic economics until I discovered Dr. Thomas Sowell of the Hoover Institute and Dr. Walter Williams of George Mason University. If you are in business, I highly encourage you to visit these sites and read some of their writings.

Professor Jack Lynch

If you need the occasional assist with the English language, and who doesn't, go to this site. Its open most of the time on my computer. Dr. Jack Lynch is an associate professor of English at the Rutgers University Newark campus.

Carrot Culture

This is the website that goes with the book "The Carrot Principle" by Adrian Gostick and Chester Elton. The site has some forms referenced in the book and a lot of other stuff to help you start a genuine recognition program. From the statistics cited in the book, I would conclude that a lot of leaders need to visit this site.

Team Building Information

I stumbled on this site one day when I was looking for some information on teams. There is an amazing amount of information about one of the most difficult leadership challenges
-- building and leading teams.

Personal Development Planet

This site is a little different but has a lot of good ideas about self-development. Good leaders must always remember to take a little time to take care of and develop themselves. This site has a lot of good ideas about how.

Project Gutenberg

There are several sites that offer free books but I like this one best. Project Gutenberg has a fantastic collection of old books that are out of copyright and free to download and read. There are some limitations on use, depending on the book but its a great resource.

Harvard Business Publishing Videos

Thanks to my father for this one. This site is a collection of video interviews on a wide variety of business related topics.

The Teaching Company

I always advise leaders to be well rounded and The Teaching Company provides excellent tools to help in that endeavor. They offer numerous video and audio courses on a wide variety of subjects. The courses are all taught by college level professors who are experts in their fields and recognized for teaching excellence.
